HAPPY MONDAY!

I woke up today feeling super grateful and motivated to start my day. I started the day making some banana oat pancakes, which are by far one of my favorite breakfasts😊

Recipe:

  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk

The riper the banana the sweeter the pancakes !!🍌

Topped with nonfat vanilla yogurt and some strawberries🍓😍

 

At about 11 I had a pre-gym snack. I found these bars at Aldi’s (low key the best grocery store around- AWESOME selection of organic and healthy foods priced cheap!-)

Today I did a shoulders!🔥💪💪

Workout

  • Straight bar shoulder press 4×12
  • Straight bar upright row 4×12
  • Front raises DB 4×12
  • Side raises 4×12
  • Arnold press 4×12
  • Shrugs 4×12
  • Dumbbell Cross over raises 4×12

For lunch I had a sandwich with turkey, lettuce, avocado, cheese, and mango chipotle sauce with my favorite protein bar as my snack!! 🥑😁💜

For dinner I made some crock pot lemon garlic chicken! (meal prep for a couple of days)

Recipe:

  • 2 lb chicken
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • granulated garlic (to taste, I normal add a lot of garlic )
  • Minced garlic (to taste, I added about 1 TBS)
  • Italian seasoning 1 TBS
  • Parsley 1 TBS
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 Chicken bouillon granule

I put the dry ingredients in a bowl and put each piece of chicken in it before I put it in the crock pot. Then, I added the liquid and topped it off with the chicken bouillon granule and more garlic (of course!).

Cook 6-8 hours on low or 3-4 on high. I like to cook mine longer and shred the chicken up!😄

I did not get home until about 4:00 so I put it on high and went for a walk at my favorite park!☀

 

 

I ended the night with some Arctic Ice ice cream🍦😀😀
